CHALLENGE

To support a strategic initiative towards operating as One Wabtec, we needed a direct channel to the frontline that could unite employees across global locations. The success of cascading varied across the organization, so we couldn't depend solely on managers.

SOLUTION

A print and digital newsletter to support monthly cultural themes, showcasing frontline employees and their managers. Printed copies were distributed in manufacturing facilities (and in some cases mailed to employees'  homes). A poster in break rooms included a QR code to view the digital version and a monthly video. A manager's toolkit made it easier for managers to discuss the contents of each issue with their teams. The newsletter is also translated into Spanish, Portuguese and Russian.
